Celebrate Springfield Days at South Run RECenter with an afternoon chock full of family fun activities as nature centers and historic sites showcase the community’s abundant natural and cultural resources with costumed interpreters, historic children’s games, nature walks, reptiles, raptors and farm animals. Enjoy ice cream and fair food and tour South Run District Park on a tractor-pulled wagon ride. Then cool off with free swimming inside South Run RECenter. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs for the outdoor movie, Kung Fu Panda, beginning at dark. There will be a nominal fee for wagon rides and food; all other events are free.
